i found your blog through diggnation and your free laptop scheme. very cool idea! . . . basically, i'm a recent college grad who loves writing web software and have been infatuated with the interweb all my life. the idea of moving out to ca to be a part of the next "internet boom" and the whole tech-culture seems so incredible but also a bit scary . . . i'm interested in your experience doing this so far and how your life has changed from college to now.

I'm very glad you liked the laptop scheme. I'm really only glad you watched Diggnation if you simultaneously drank a beer. I am also a fan of the interweb but an "internet boom" sounds a bit frightening.
I could write an entire novel about all the crazy things that happened in those seven months between college graduation and now. But I think I have a better idea - a quiz to see if moving from the midwest to the Bay Area is for you.
Which would you rather do?
a) have a backyard or b) have a chumby

a) pay $5 at a kegger or b) have your drinks paid for by Yahoo!
